why would you be a singer if you can't sing?
you don’t have to have an amazing voice with all of that technical shit that apparently proves how much of a great person you are like fucking Susan Boyle to be considered a singer.
I don’t care about that sort of thing, I don’t want to be a singer, I want to be a leader of this new movement within the revolution, a legend, like the quote Freddie Mercury made famous.
Fuck, even if I never made it to such levels of fame but was known and appreciated for what I did anyway like so many Artists of the past have been - the New York Dolls were never THAT famous yet they still made a HUGE fucking impact.
I have a fucking lot to get out there, okay.
Sitting behind a drum kit hasn’t been the best for gaining the ability and power to do that.
I mean, someone tell me if I’m talking a load of shit and this is all very wrong and I might consider stopping but since nobody is even making an effort either way …
is there any point in advertising myself as a singer
if I don’t have a good voice?
I know I’m really self critical in everything I do but I know I don’t have a good voice
I mean, it’s not the worst, it sort of has something there, but it certainly isn’t anything utterly amazing.
I just have everything else a frontman should have, or at least, what I think they should.
and every frontman is different - I could play in the band but I just think I’d be better as an Artist if I served as the front.
And since most of my influences are revolutionary/along the lines of punk anyway, does not having a good voice even matter that much?
I can always try and learn, maybe even take lessons
but music has always been more of a free thing for me.
I don’t do what other people want me to do.

why are non of the people in Newcastle and surrounding area not suitable enough to play in a great band with me.
maybe it’s just me, haha.
